Colorado trip photo report.

Time:   June 8-15, 2002.

Participants from:   University of Chicago's Outdoor Adventure Club, Smirnov Outing Club, Purdue Outing Club.

Itinerary:   Chicago - Denver - Aspen - Maroon-Snowmass trailhead - Crater Lake - Buckskin Pass (~3739 m./12462 ft) - Snowmass Lake - Snowmass Mountain (~4227 m./14092 ft., class III) - Maroon-Snowmass trail - West Snowmass trail - Snowmass Creek - Moon Lake - Capitol Peak (4239 m./14130 ft., class IV) - Snowmass Creek - West Snowmass trail - Maroon-Snowmass trailhead - Snowmass Village - Denver - Chicago.

• Plus 1 indian, 1 postdoc, 1 chemist, 1 economist, 1 political scientist... And all this totals 8 people.

Trip motto:  "OK people, how about NOW?!!"

These pages are simply the compilation of almost all (except for few of very bad technical quality) of the pictures that I took during this trip. So you may consider it some kind of photo diary.

The pictures are sorted according to the rolls of film they belong to. Inside every roll they are arranged in groups of dozen or so (in order to avoid very heavy and long-loading pages). Don't be disappointed if your browser doesn't show thumbnails too well - the quality of the scanned pictures themselves is relatively good. Well, as good as I managed manupulate my camera while taking them. Please don't shoot the pianist. Just click on thumbnails and see screen size pictures (768x518, 24-bit JPEG). Each picture is also present in the PhotoCD-version (1818x1228, 24-bit JPEG).

If you prefer to browse pictures off-line, here's the .ZIP archive of all the screen pictures (it weighs about 9 Mb) or the .ZIP archive of all the PhotoCD pictures (this one is 42 Mb!). Within the archives the images are numbered with roll number and frame number (please note that the regular movement of film in my camera is from HIGHER numbers to the LOWER ones). All files with the names starting with i are the little thumbnails (150x100), all pictures with names ending on _large are PhotoCD versions (1818x1228), the rest are normal screen size (768x518).
